SEC to review complaints over elections at 6 pm


The State Election Commission (SEC) is to hold a session at 6 pm on Sunday to start reviewing the complaints it received over the July 15 early parliamentary election process and the process of counting and verification of the election results.

SEC received a total of 2,141 complaints as the deadline expired at 7:30 pm on Saturday.

The SEC received a total of 2,141 complaints. The Commission will first review complaints over the election process, regarding which the deadline expired at 9 pm on Friday, as it is obliged to act on the complaints received within 72 hours.
