A border incident occurred in the waters of Lake Ohrid on Monday night, when police fired four shots to prevent an Albanian speedboat from escaping Radozda into Albanian waters.

Late Monday night, police officers from the Ohrid Lake Police Department headed towards the village of Radozda near Struga, where they noticed a speedboat with Albanian national plates in which were two people transporting items suspected of criminal origin, moving towards Albania.

Following an order from the police officers to stop the speedboat, the defendants disobeyed the order and hit the official vessel several times with the speedboat, after which one of the police officers fired four warning bullets, and the persons headed to the village of Lin in neighboring Albania.
