VMRO-DPMNE MP Antonio Miloshoski at Friday’s parliamentary session announced that he will not vote for the re-election of Talat Xhaferi as Speaker. For that, as he said, he had two arguments.
“Regarding the proposal for the election of Speaker, I will point out two arguments. The first argument is the experience I have from his previous term. In October 2019, Xhaferi passed the Marijuana Law, abusing the European flag. There were other laws that had a European flag and did not have a point of contact with European regulations. Specifically, Xhaferi did not show capacity and I don’t think that he will do that now,” Milososki said.
As his second argument, Miloshoski pointed out that Xhaferi did not have credibility, i.e. SDSM supported him now, while during the election campaign SDSM threw “sticks and stones” toward the DUI leadership.
