About 20,000 retirees who had Eurostandard Bank accounts will not get their pensions on time, according to the media.
They were advised to switch to a different bank by Friday, so the deadline expired yesterday.
Everyone who failed to switch to a new account will have to do so by September 7, 14 or 25, which means that they will receive their August pension after that deadline.
The Pension and Disability Insurance Fund says that they will have the opportunity to do so later, pointing out that there will be extraordinary payments throughout September, but urges citizens to open a new transaction account as soon as possible.
