The Union of High School Students said on Monday that the protest against the government decision on online classes for school students will take place on August 31. The original date scheduled for August 28 is postponed due to orthodox holiday Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

“We back a combined learning model, where the conditions allow different local methods to be applied. The protest will start in front of the building of the Ministry of Education and Science, and will end in front of the government building”, Union of High School Students said in a press release.

“We invite teachers and parents who support such a decentralized approach, instead of one solution for all groups, to join us,” press release said.
