Ahmeti to testify in The Hague as one of the founders of the KLA

DUI leader Ali Ahmeti confirmed that he had been called to testify before prosecutors at the Special Prosecutor’s Office in The Hague on September 2nd and 3rd.

Ahmeti sposted on Facebook that he had been summoned to appear before the Hague-based Special War Crimes Prosecutor’s Office in Kosovo, and wrote that he had been summoned and that he “would go to The Hague to testify as one of the founders of the KLA”.

Earlier, the spokesperson of the Special Prosecutor’s Office for War Crimes in Kosovo Christopher Bennett said that until the indictment is filed, he cannot reveal why and in what capacity the DUI leader was summoned.
