Mexhiti confirms clashes within DUI, but will support the new government

Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) MP and Vice President IzetMexhiti confirmed on Tuesday that there were internal clashes within the party, but a conversation he had with party leader Ali Ahmeti on Tuesday night said he would support the new government with SDSM, which will be proposed by Prime Minister-designate ZoranZaev.

Mexhiti also confirmed that he did not agree with some of the party’s proposals for the division of responsibilities in the new government, but that he will vote for the government, presenting his remarks in advance.

The former mayor of the Skopje municipality of Chair also said that there will be no changes in the division of ministries and that the proposal for the new government will be submitted to the Parliament this week, reports Alsat.
