Zaev’s government is pushing Macedonia towards an economic abyss. They have been silent for days about the collapse of the Eurostandard Bank scandal worth 200 million euros, because Strumica companies close to Zaev are directly involved in the new TAT. When the bank was audited and the mortgages were activated, those companies were consciously taken into bankruptcy, which creates a big crisis in the bank, VMRO-DPMNE said today in a statement.

“It is obvious that not only Minister Nina Angelovska, but also these companies withdrew their money from the bank ahead of time or made deals which endangered the operation of the bank. Due to this attitude of people from the government and companies close to it, today we have 100 thousand blocked accounts, twenty thousand unpaid pensions, and hundreds of newly unemployed citizens. But this is not the only bad indicator of the government’s economic policies. In just three months, the state owes a new billion euros. In 5 months we have almost 40 thousand newly unemployed people,” said VMRO-DPMNE.
