Experts have new information about the coronavirus every day, although this virus remains a mystery. In a conversation with Factor, microbiologist Dr. Nikola Panovski pointed out that the schools should have reopened by now, and the students could have had outdoor classes.

“We lost precious time, the measures were much stricter at the beginning, and then suddenly they were relaxed, which did not lead to this situation with three-digit numbers throughout the summer. The school year could have started and there would have been no huge risks of infection among the students. In my opinion, October 1st is late for students to start going to school, they should practically be dismissed on November 15th, exactly in that critical period for colds and other respiratory diseases present during the autumn months,” says Dr. Panovski.
