Direct financial assistance for workers and companies in the most affected sectors, the fixed-term contract should not exceed one year and the maternity leave should last 12 months, are part of the demands that today the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia requested from the Government led by Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.

The union demands that Saturday and Sunday be declared non-working days and that more retirement conditions be introduced. Prime Minister Zaev promised a minimum wage of 20 thousand denars, early retirement for up to five years, Sunday to be a non-working day and a new labor law that will contain European standards.
