Government to take a EUR 90 million for COVID-19 management

The Government reviewed and accepted the draft-law on a loan in the amount of EUR 90 million from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development – World Bank proposed by the Ministry of Finance.

The loan, as stated in the announcement from Tuesday’s session of the Government, is intended to finance the Project for urgent management and prevention of the consequences of COVID-19 in the country.
They add that the benefits will be felt by the entire population taking into account the nature of the disease, infected people, at-risk population, especially the elderly and people with chronic diseases, medical staff, medical institutions and testing institutions as well as public health institutions.
