According to estimates made by the Ministry of Education and Science in Macedonia, as many as 40,000 children do not have access to an electronic device for monitoring instruction, said Education Minister Mila Carovska, during the presentation of the National Program for Online Education.

The minister announced that access to the Internet can be provided, but that the state cannot provide so many devices for every child.

“It is a current situation, which cannot be overcome in one month. For those children, we will have classes (15-minute videos) that will be placed on the National Television, on the channels that are already provided and through them they will be able to be exposed to the information they need to receive at school,” said Minister of Education Mila Carovska.
