Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani said Monday he was an optimist that the North Macedonia-Bulgaria joint commission on historical and educational issues would find a solution to the Goce Delchev issue.
Asked what if the commission didn’t find a solution to the Goce Delchev issue, he said he wouldn’t jump to conclusions and ‘leave it to the commission to convene and to try and find a joint solution, to settle the differences’.
“I have faith in the expertise of our historians to find a joint text on the matter,” Osmani said.
