Five deaths and 88 new COVID-19 cases

Five patients between the ages of 50 and 60 have died as a result of COVID-19 complications in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health informs. One patient from Tetovo (53), one from Gostivar (60), one from Prilep (57), one from Struga (60) and one patient from Bitola (60) have died.

The Ministry of Health informs that in the last 24 hours 1618 tests were carried out, and 88 new COVID-19 cases were registered in: Skopje-45, Kumanovo-4, Stip-1, Prilep-7, Tetovo-6, Struga-3, Bitola-2, Ohrid-3, Gostivar-1, Strumica-7, Kriva Palanka-2, Kochani-3, Makedonski Brod-1, Vinica-1 and Kichevo-2.

The Institute of Public Health registered 135 recovered patients.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country is 16,867, the number of recovered patients is 14,084, the death toll stands at 705, and currently the number of active cases in the country is 2,078.
