Filipche and Infectious Diseases Commission hold emergency meeting

Health Minister Venko Filipche and members of the Commission for Infectious Diseases are holding a meeting to discuss the current epidemiological situation in North Macedonia and the increased number of new COVID-19 cases, the Ministry of Health said in a press release Friday.

More information, the press release added, will be available after the meeting.

According to latest COVID-19 data published on Friday, 225 new cases were registered in North Macedonia in the past 24 hours, while 96 patients recovered.

18,363 confirmed coronavirus cases have been recorded in the country since the onset of the epidemic, while 15,164 patients have recovered. Moreover, death toll has reached 749.
