The Ministry of Interior, within the operational action “Fugitive”, is taking intensive measures to find and detain persons wanted for serving a prison sentence.
“From the activities undertaken so far in the period from 15.09 to 01.10.2020 on the territory of North Macedonia, 59 people were found and detained, who were then taken to serve a prison sentence of up to ten years and were taken to penitentiary institutions ,”said Angelovski.
A person extradited from Germany is wanted for serving a prison sentence of 32 years and six months. A person wanted for ten years in prison has been extradited from Austria, and several other people have also been extradited during this period.
