Out of 2,445 COVID-19 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 535 new cases were registered in North Macedonia, the Health Ministry said on Thursday. Most of the new cases were registered in Skopje-277, followed by Strumica-30, Prilep-26, Gevgelija-24, Shtip-22, Tetovo-18, Kumanovo-17, Kichevo-15, Bitola-13, Kochani-12, Veles-10, Sveti Nikole-9, Struga-8, Resen-8, Debar-7, Radovish-6, Gostivar-5, Negotino-5, Valandovo-5, Ohrid-4, Kavadarci-4, Probishtip-3, Kriva Palanka-2, Demir Hisar-2, Makedonski Brod-1, Vinica-1, Delchevo-1.
The Public Health Institute registered 168 recovered patients from all over the country.
Six patients passed away, one from Bitola (aged 66), one from Kumanovo (57), one from Prilep (72), one from Sveti Nikole (69), one from Veles (67) and one from Negotino (55).
Since the onset of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 22,170 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 16,758 patients have recovered. The death toll has reached 815.
At the moment, there are 4,597 active cases across the country.
A total of 214,235 tests have been made thus far.
