Gas pipeline lines to be completed in 2021


Construction works on gas pipeline line Kumanovo-Shtip-Prilep-Bitola are 90-percent completed, while line Skopje-Tetovo-Gostivar is over 60-percent finished, Minister of Transport and Communications Blagoj Bochvarski said on Saturday.

Minister Bochvarski expects the two lines to be completed in 2021.

“We are already working on lines to link with Sveti Nikole and Veles, as well as Strumica via Bulgaria,” Bochvarski told reporters.

Natural gas to North Macedonia will be supplied from Greece, with which are there are ongoing discussions, and Bulgaria.
