All state laboratories have sufficient number of COVID-19 tests, and the capacity of state labs that perform testing for Sars Cov-2, COVID-19 is significantly increased, according to the Ministry of Health.
“Of the 3,294 tests included in Saturday’s statistics, 1,800 were carried out in state labs, of which 1,310 in the lab of the Institute for Public Health, where the capacity has almost doubled in the past few days,” the Health Ministry said.
The autumn surge in COVID-19, the Ministry adds, is filling laboratories as well as hospital beds. Therefore, citizens are urged to be responsible and comply with protection measures.
