We were Macedonians in 1895, we are Macedonians now, stressed VMRO-DPMNE Secretary General Gjorgija Sajkoski on Facebook, by posting a document from the Macedonian Committee in Sofia on February 19, 1895.
“Who is telling us who we are: the commission, the Bulgarian government, our government or our ancestors? For the ancestors, I would like to attach 1 public document from 1895. I want to get to know those who have left in this way, but I want to bring back those who are hesitant and tell them who they are and who they should be and they should remain Macedonians, wherever they are. That is why I posted this document for the Bulgarian politicians and the Macedonian government and the commission to see so that they can be careful about what they are negotiating.”
