Prime Minister Zoran Zaev expects that tomorrow’s summit in Sofia will once again send the message for the opening of the first chapters, i.e. the holding of the first EU intergovernmental conferences with Albania and Macedonia.

“Tomorrow I expect serious support for the European path of all six member states of the Western Balkans who are candidates and want to be full-fledged members of the EU. And of course I expect that the Berlin Summit tomorrow will once again send the message for the start of the negotiations, ie the opening of the first chapters, i.e. the holding of the first EU intergovernmental conferences with Albania and Macedonia,” said Zaev.

In his address after the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation in response to the Covid-19 crisis with Albania and Serbia, Zaev stressed that the goal is to facilitate the lives of our citizens and to lay the foundations for economic recovery.
