My deepest condolences to the families that lost a loved one due to COVID-19. The number is way too high and things need to change, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski wrote on Facebook Wednesday.

“I’m convinced that, with a different organization, the Healthcare Ministry and the Government could have been better prepared for the autumn COVID-19 wave and would’ve saved more lives. What the Government is doing right now is not enough. Lives are being lost and the Government clearly can’t respond to this complex pandemic. It would be more honest on their part if they resigned, than we keep losing lives because of their incompetence,” Mickoski said.
