Skopje with the highest number of COVID-19 patients and the highest incidence, mortality up by over 35%

The latest weekly data related to the coronavirus epidemic in the country of the Institute of Public Health shows that in the past seven days the number of confirmed virus infections has increased by 6.4 percent compared to the previous weekly report, while the number of deaths due to complications caused by COVID-19 in the same period increased by as much as 35.4 percent.

Between November 9th and November 15th, a total of 20,980 materials were tested in laboratories for molecular testing for the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, an increase of 6.4 percent over the previous week, and with them confirmed 7,355 new positive cases from 35 cities in the country with a slight increase compared to the previous seven-day period, when 7,280 new cases were registered, according to the weekly report of the Institute of Public Health.
