476 patients treated in Skopje COVID centers

The Ministry of Health said Monday that in the past 24 hours, 41 confirmed coronavirus patients have been admitted in the COVID centers in Skopje due to virus complications.

A total of 476 confirmed and suspected COVID-19 patients are being treated at the infectious disease wards in the hospitals in the capital.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 18 patients have been admitted at the internal clinics, of which one at the Institute for Lung Diseases and Tuberculosis, four at the COVID center in the Neurology Clinic, three at the center in the Dermatovenerology Clinic, one at the Otorhinolaryngology Clinic and nine at the Gastroenterohepatology Clinic.

Moreover, 11 patients were admitted at the COVID center within the Skopje City General Hospital ‘8 September’ and 12 at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases, the press release reads.

In the past 24 hours, 16 recovered coronavirus patients were discharged from hospitals.

25 patients are currently being treated at the COVID center within the Dermatology Clinic, another 33 at the Neurology Clinic, 51 at the Institute for Lung Diseases and Tuberculosis, 25 at the Nephrology Clinic, 16 patients at the Ophthalmology Clinic, 27 at the Otorhinolaryngology Clinic and nine at the Gastroenterohepatology Clinic.

There are 108 patients at the “8 September” hospital, 151 patients at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases and 31 patients at the Institute of Respiratory Diseases in Children-Kozle, of which eight children and 23 adults.

A total of 476 confirmed and suspected COVID-19 patients are being treated at the infectious disease wards in the hospitals in the capital. Many of them are on oxygen support.
