Cheap international flights, which were canceled because of the pandemic, will be brought back as soon as countries open their borders again, Minister of Transport and Communications Blagoj Bochvarski announced Sunday.
“We’re working toward reintroducing flights,” Minister Bochvarski said, “but this is not an issue that can be resolved unilaterally. It is a bilateral discussion between countries. As borders reopen and restrictions are lifted, and as health experts in both countries ease Covid measures, we’ll be following the process and bringing back flights.”
“As soon as the borders open, the flights will be back,” he reiterated, adding that the Wizz Air air carrier was expected to resume service from Skopje to Abu Dhabi later this month.
