In the past 24 hours, 1,161 new cases of COVID-19 were registered, bringing the number of active cases in the country to 21,797. However, Doctor Dejan Trajkovski shared that the statistics show that 3.50% of the total number diagnosed 14 days ago have died. Specifically, of all those diagnosed, 9.3% reached the hospital, and of those who were hospitalized, 34.8% (one in three patients) died.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 72,044 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 48,170 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 2,077.
