I recently announced that Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov publicly boasted that he was the obstacle due to which Prime Minister Zoran Zaev did not sign an agreement with Bulgaria which would mean accepting all Bulgarian positions to the detriment of Macedonia. Moreover, for me both men are the same, but obviously Dimitrov in the battle for personal rating wanted to present himself as a protector of the Macedonian national interests, and present Zaev as a traitor, and two days passed and there is no direct denial from either of the two, said VMRO-DPMNE Vice President Aleksandar Nikoloski on Wednesday at a press conference in Parliament.
The opposition vice president added that he did not want to enter into their personal relations, but said that this alone shows that there is a “huge scandal” or that Prime Minister Zaev was ready to sign annulment of the independence of the Macedonian people, to sign erasure of Macedonian history, the independence of the Macedonian language and that the only reason why he did not do so was the pressure from the public and the people who took to the streets in Macedonian towns and villages and opposed this work.
The Vice President of VMRO-DPMNE pointed out that there was still no answer to the statement in which a few days ago the party leader of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski, in which he publicly testified that Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov told him that Zaev had promised to work with in order to gain his support.
