The data of the Institute of Public Health (IPH) for the period from December 7 to 13 show that the most cases of COVID-19 in Macedonia are people over 60 years of age. In one week, 73 children aged 0 to 9 were infected with the coronavirus.
People of all age groups were registered as COVID-19 cases.
The most common age group is over 60 (n = 1,503, 27.2%). A large number of patients was registered in the age groups of 30-39 (n = 1,042; 18.9%), 50-59 (n = 1,040; 18.8%), 40-49 (n = 1,030; 18 , 7%) and 20-29 (n = 648; 11.7%).
The lowest number was registered in children aged 0-9 (n = 73; 1.3%) and 10-19 (n = 182; 3.3%).
