Some 100 kilograms of marijuana have been seized by police officers at the border crossing Novo Selo on Friday evening. During a search of a MAN truck with Bulgarian license plates, police found 102 packages of marijuana, hidden inside the truck.
Police arrested the driver, a 48-year-old man from Bulgaria and he will appear at Strumica’s court on Saturday, Interior Ministry’s press release reads.
The Interior Ministry continues to take measures to combat illegal drug trafficking and other criminal activities.
