VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski in Monday’s interview on MTV talking about Macedonia-Bulgaria relations and our accession to the EU with a clear message to all involved.

“If the European bureaucrats continue to stand aside despite Bulgaria’s hegemonic and grandiose ideas and do not respect our commitments to the European Union, then I conclude that we do not share the same values, we should Europeanize ourselves and wait for other sets of politicians we are on “the same line”, said VMRO-DPMNE leader Mickoski.

According to him, “if our partners do not stand behind my right to language, identity, history, it means that we do not share the same values.” Mickoski pointed out that if the European partners want, they should tell Bulgaria not to share such hegemonic and authoritarian ideas and to convince it that Macedonia should start negotiations.

“I would not like to believe that these acrobatics in Bulgaria are for one use in the direction of what follows in a few months, and that is parliamentary elections,” Mickoski concluded.
