The fire that broke out late Saturday night almost completely destroyed the first floor of the shopping center “Global” in Strumica.
Firefighters extinguished the fire early Sunday morning, and according to the initial reports from the field, at least 10 shops and the covered market in shopping center have been completely destroyed.
Strumica Mayor Kosta Janevski paid a visit to the site, saying the damages are enormous but luckily there are no people injured.
Janevski thanked the fire fighters for their professionalism in extinguishing the fire with the support of counterparts from Radovish, Shtip, Valandovo and Kavadarci.
