Starting January 21, the working hours of all hospitality businesses will be extended until 9 pm. Other measures remain in force, Health Minister Venko Filipche told reporters on Thursday when asked about the possibility of easing COVID-19 restrictions.
He stressed that stakeholders will monitor the situation in coming days and decide whether to discuss the hospitality sector’s demands to further extend working hours until 11 pm.
The government previously decided to shorten starting December 18, the working hours of hospitality facilities by 6 pm in order to curb the spread of COVID-19 during the holidays.
