Health Minister Venko Filipche, during a visit of the Institute of Forensic Medicine where WHO donated laboratory equipment on Thursday, said that the UK’s new strain of coronavirus has not been detected in Macedonia.

However, he noted that other mutations had been detected.

“There is not an identical strain in our country to the one in Great Britain. Other 6-7 mutations have been detected in our country, and the one that has prevailed in the past months in the country has been detected in Serbia and Switzerland,” said Health Minister Filipche.
