According to economic analyst Zoran Vitanov, the government of SDSM and Zaev has neither staffing policy nor political will to attract foreign investment.
“I criticized the previous government a lot for its economy, because it was too involved in a ‘dubious’ economy. I would not call it black, I would call it gray. However, out of the ten exporting companies in the Republic of Macedonia in 2020, eight are from foreign investments attracted by the previous government. The numbers never lie in the economy. We do not have foreign investments because foreign hosts who are willing to invest their money, see that they invest in homelessness. And finally the ambiance. In conditions of lack of judiciary, not of corrupt judiciary, but of lack of judiciary, what kind of fool would invest their money here,” stressed Vitanov.
