After deducting 2800 denars from the pensioners, reducing their pensions, now they lie that they have increased them by 130 denars, said VMRO-DPMNE in a statement.
“SDSM’s lies are definitely endless. Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jagoda Shahpaska repeats the notorious lies and manipulations towards the oldest category of citizens. She actually announced an increase in the minimum pension by 134 denars per month, while for the average 185 denars per month, which is not true and on the contrary insults the intelligence of the citizens. This is proof that SDSM, instead of honest and strong staff, uses the few that remain and distributes them to do something that they themselves do not understand. The increase in pensions that they are announcing is not a reality, because at this moment the amount of pensions is continuously decreasing, not increasing. Legal adjustment of pensions is an obligation that is made twice a year and is a reflection of the increase in monthly living costs from last year and it does not affect the improvement of living standards of retirees in the coming year, but is only a partial attempt to mitigate the decline in their living standard,” said VMRO-DPMNE.
