The Mayor of the City of Skopje Petre Shilegov, in yesterday’s edition of “360 stepeni” reiterated that he plans to run and that he will seek support from SDSM to support his candidacy for a second term.
“All the work that I have done in the past three years gives me the right to ask for support from SDSM to support my candidacy for a second term. As a legalist, I will stick to that procedure and procedure. That will first be a request for support within the bodies of SDSM, said Shilegov.
When asked on what terms are he and Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, and whether there were any problems, Shilegov says that was just a speculation.
“We are on great terms, were were at a working meeting together just yesterday. Probably, in the absence of interesting things, people want to make up things that do not exist. We do not have a broken relationship. We have been through so much together since 2013 that it simply does not make sense to have a broken relationship,” Shilegov said.
