9 deaths, 394 new COVID-19 cases

Out of 2,236 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 394 new cases were registered, 387 patients have recovered and 9 passed away, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

Most of the new cases were registered in Skopje-190, followed by Kavadarci – 29, Veles – 19, Delchevo – 16, Kumanovo – 14, Ohrid – 12, Debar – 12, Gostivar – 11, Prilep – 7, Shtip – 7, Bitola – 7, Berovo – 7, Demir Kapija – 7, Kichevo – 6, Tetovo – 5, Strumica – 5, Gevgelija – 5, Sveti Nikole – 4, Negotino – 4, Vinica – 4, Struga – 3, Kochani – 3, Kriva Palanka – 3, Radovish – 3, Krushevo – 3, Resen – 2, Probishtip – 2, Kratovo – 2, Pechevo – 2.

The Public Health Institute registered 387 recovered patients from all over the country, the press release reads.

Nine patients passed away, two from Skopje (aged 74 and 82), two from Kichevo (61 and 70), one from Resen (77), one from Bitola (87), one from Vinica (57), one from Ohrid (79) and one from Prilep (65).

Since the onset of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 91,555 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 80,008 patients have recovered. The death toll has reached 2,821. At the moment, there are 8,726 active cases across the country.
