Following the investigation procedure, the competent public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Corruption, submitted to the Basic Criminal Court – Skopje an Indictment against three persons from Kumanovo. Defendant B.A. (28) is charged with having committed a crime – Terrorist organization under Article 394-a paragraph 1 and a crime – Terrorism under Article 394-b paragraph 6 in conjunction with paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, while defendants V.A. (22) and E.Lj. (26) with the actions described in the indictment committed the criminal offense Terrorist Organization under Article 394-a paragraph 2 and the criminal offense – Terrorism under Article 394-b paragraph 6 in conjunction with paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
In early 2019, the defendant B.A. created a criminal organization – a terrorist organization “cell”, based on the ideological matrix of the well-known terrorist organization ISIS. Accepting the criminal plan of the criminal organization – terrorist group “cell”, the accused V.A. and E.Lj. became members, as well as the eight suspects for whom an investigation procedure is being conducted from 28.12.2020. In the terrorist group “cell” there was coordination and joint action, with the intention of endangering life and body and creating a sense of insecurity and fear among citizens. Each member had specific tasks, as follows: Defendant B.A. as an organizer, provided financial means for the realization of the goals of the criminal organization, negotiated and organized the procurement – purchase of weapons, ammunition and military equipment, organized training activities related to the use of firearms and explosive devices, organized meetings showing radical videos content, as well as the method of making explosive devices.
