Police officers from the criminal police department – illegal drug trafficking unit, the special anti-terrorist unit – Tigers and the department for suppression of organized and serious crime on Saturday busted an international drug trafficking ring for smuggling marijuana from Albania into North Macedonia, seizing some 200 kg of marijuana. Two people were arrested, said MoI spokesperson Toni Angelovski on Sunday.
When searching the vehicle, police officers discovered seven large bags carrying 180 bags in different sizes, filled with marijuana, he added.
