The mass vaccination in Macedonia will probably start on Wednesday, after 24,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine will arrive through the COVAX Faculty Sunday, announced Health Minister Venko Filipche.
“We are ready for that process to be carried out quickly and efficiently in the “Boris Trajkovski” sports hall. The vaccines will be distributed in the cities on Monday. Everything we expected to happen before happened here in April. The optimum is to vaccinate 4,000, and I think we can reach 7,000 citizens a day, at all points, in the public health centers, in the “Boris Trajkovski” sports hall, similar to Serbia and Israel – to achieve satisfactory dynamics,” he said.
