The State Statistical Office strongly denies the information that appeared in the public that there is a possibility for people who have renounced their Macedonian citizenship to self-register on the census app. This is misinformation, the SSO announced on its official Facebook profile.
“The first condition is that the people who have registered should be in the database of citizens of the Ministry of Interior. After crossing the bases, those who are not there will be removed, although they tried to register with a passive ID number. The SSO operates according to a serious methodology and is guided by the strictest and most modern standards of census checks and any attempt to misinform and manipulate the population will be immediately denied and exposed,” explained the SSO.
