The image we are witnessing in Gevgelija on Sunday on a non-working weekend is really sad, the city is completely frozen, paralyzed as a result of the coronacrisis but also as a result of the incompetence of the government, said VMRO-DPMNE Vice President AleksandarNikoloski.
“Macedonia is convincingly on the last and lowest place in terms of vaccination not only in the region but in all of Europe and unfortunately in the infamous first places in terms of the number of COVID-19 deaths. It affects people, not only in the area of fear, not only in the area of home closure but also in the economy, but also in the health battle. Every day people struggle to find a doctor, to find a nurse for first aid, to be able to fight the coronavirus. That is the sad picture that is happening to us in Macedonia, a complete collapse of the healthcare system as a result of this corrupt government,” said the vice president of the opposition VMRO-DPMNE.
Nikoloski pointed out that Macedonia still has not procured vaccines and as things stand, unfortunately, there won’t be any time soon.
