The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption is of the opinion to submit an initiative to the Constitutional Court for yesterday’s Law on Legalization of Illegal Buildings.

“If the Law on Legalization of Illegal Buildings enters into force, then we can put a cross on all other laws, so we are of the opinion to submit an initiative to the Constitutional Court, so let those judges appreciate it,” President of the Anti-Corruption Commission Biljana Ivanovska told MKD.mk

Ivanovska says that they will first analyze the text of the Law, but emphasizes that, according to what was published in the media, the Law has no logic.

The new Law on Determining the Legal Status of Illegally Constructed Buildings, passed by the Parliament on Tuesday with 72 votes in favor, three abstentions and five against, will bring new illegal constructions and non-destruction of the existing ones, as well as amnesty of those who built illegally.
