Out 2,533 COVID-19 tests carried out in North Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 50 new cases were registered, 133 patients recovered and 16 died, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.
Most of the new cases were registered in Skopje – 26, Bitola – 7, Kumanovo – 6, Prilep – 2, Ohrid – 2, Struga – 2, Gostivar – 1, Kochani – 1, Debar – 1, Vinica – 1, and Kratovo – 1.
The Public Health Institute registered 133 recovered patients from all over the country, the press release reads.
Sixteen people died between the ages of 47 and 85, including four from Tetovo, three from Kumanovo, and one each from Skopje, Prilep, Vinica, Strumica, Veles, Kochani, Struga, Negotino and Makedonska Kamenica.
Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has registered 154,937confirmed coronavirus cases, while 146,632 patients have recovered. Death toll has reached 5,265. At the moment, there are 3,040 active cases across the country.
