VMRO-DPMNE to block the bill on state-owned agricultural land sale

During a visit to the municipality of Sopishte, VMRO-DPMNE Vice President Aleksandar Nikoloski was asked by the media about Zaev’s new bill on state-owned land sales.

“Regarding the agricultural land, I think it is a mafia attempt to sell Macedonia. After Zoran Zaev tried to realize several lucrative projects and none of them succeeded, now the last big so-called project he is trying to realize is the sale of agricultural land, something that generations and generations of Macedonian politicians did not think about, neither in the former Yugoslavia nor in today’s Macedonia, Zoran Zaev found himself the smartest to do so,” said Nikoloski.

Nikoloski added that VMRO-DPMNE will strongly oppose it and will use all mechanisms in the Parliament to prevent this bill, because the state-owned agricultural land should be given to farmers and those who want to work, to work under concession, but should not be sold, and in particular should not be allowed to be sold to people with criminal intent who are from the country or abroad, but who have no honest intentions.
