Out 2,691 COVID-19 tests carried out in N.Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 53 new cases were registered, 111 patients recovered and 13 died, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.
Most of the new cases were registered in Skopje – 29, followed by Prilep – 7, Kumanovo – 4, Bitola – 2, Gostivar – 2, Ohrid – 2, Kichevo – 2, Tetovo-1, Kochani – 1, Radovish – 1, Berovo – 1, Valandovo – 1.
The Public Health Institute registered 111 recovered patients from all over the country, the press release reads.
Thirteen people died between the ages of 51 and 88, including five from Skopje, three from Strumica, two from Bitola, one from Tetovo, one from Gostivar, and one from Struga.
Since the onset of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 155,169 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 147,301 patients have recovered. Death toll has reached 5,369. At the moment, there are 2,499 active cases across the country.
