The third heart transplant in North Macedonia is a success, Health Minister Venko Filipche said Sunday.
“A 39-year-old woman received early today a new heart. The operation lasted five hours, so the next 48 hours are critical for the patient. I wish the patient a speedy recovery,” Filipche posted on Facebook.
Earlier on Sunday he informed that two other patients will receive kidney transplant from the same donor.
