10 deaths, 23 new COVID-19 cases

Out 2,755 COVID-19 tests carried out in N. Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 23 new cases were registered, 1,191 patients recovered and 10 died, the Health Ministry said on Sunday.

Most of the new cases were registered in Skopje – 15, Kumanovo – 2, Prilep – 2, Ohrid – 1, Strumica – 1, Kichevo – 1 and Kratovo – 1.

The Public Health Institute registered 1,191 recovered patients from all over the country, the press release reads.

Ten people died, between the ages of 57 and 88, including five in Skopje, and one each in Kumanovo, Bitola, Kavadarci, Struga and Kochani.

Since the onset of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 155,269 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 148,664 patients have recovered. Death toll has reached 5,408. At the moment, there are 1,197 active cases across the country.
