There is no deterioration of the epidemiological situation and there is no more pressure in the infectious departments in the country. Yesterday, as in the previous days, a small number of new COVID-19 were registered, and the number of deaths as a result of COVID-19 is decreasing. According to Health Minister Venko Filipche, pressure on hospitals has eased, and the Commission for Infectious Diseases will meet again before June 15, when the new public health protection protocols for summer events are to be introduced. If the current epidemiological trends continue, more restrictions could be lifted after June 15.

Until then, Health Minister Filipche said, health authorities would consult with event organizers in developing the protocols.

“The curfew would be the first example, and second, the guidelines on organizing events,” he added.
