After the appointment of JudgeDobrilaKacarska as president and the long-time Social Democratic MP and party official CvetankaIvanova as a judge of the Constitutional Court, Prime Minister ZoranZaev made a forum of SDSM pensioners out of the court, VMRO-DPMNE accused.

“There is no greater act of partisanship of the state than the Constitutional Court, which is a pillar in a state, protector and guardian of the Constitution to want to appoint a former MP, party official and current Secretary General of Parliament from the ranks of SDSM, as CvetankaIvanova for a constitutional judge,” said the opposition party.

VMRO-DPMNE is asked how the ruling party can talk about “independence and departmentalization” when they nominate CvetankaIvanova, a senior party official for more than a decade, as a Constitutional Judge.

However, VMRO-DPMNE also reminds of the close business relations between the members of Ivanova’s immediate family with the companies of the Zaevfamily members, especially when it comes to the distribution of state tenders.
